Accelerating Translational Research for Medical Devices

Translating medical research into commercialised medical devices is an exciting but challenging endeavour. In this webinar, UNSW scientia professor Nigel Lovell will present successfully translated technologies ranging from web-enabling technologies, telehealth apps, biomedical instrumentation, biological signal processing and health data analytics, neurophysiology and physiological modelling. 

Nigel will share best practices arising from these case studies, with a  focus on how industry can better engage with and leverage the deep expertise biomedical engineers at universities to successfully commercialise medical devices.

In addition, he will outline the research objectives of the recently announced ARC Hub on Connected Sensors for Health.
