About the event

In the treatment of stroke, time is of the essence. Rapid diagnosis saves lives and improves patient outcomes. In this presentation, we explore a case study of EMVision, which is developing a portable brain scanner for rapid, point-of-care, stroke diagnosis and monitoring. Born out of research at the University of Queensland, The EMVT technology relies on the contrast of the dielectric properties between healthy and unhealthy tissue. If a pathology is present, the conductivity and permittivity of that tissue will change.

Dr Ron Weinberger (CEO) and Robert Tiller (CDO) will discuss the journey so far in taking this technology from the lab bench to a publicly listed entity.
