About the event
As Cochlear has grown from a startup to the leading MedTech company it is today, it has learned many lessons that have been embedded in its systems and process. In this presentation, the Head of R&D Processes and Services at Cochlear Peter O'Neill outlines the best practices in MedTech product development that are relevant to every MedTech company.
Topics to be discussed include key elements in relation to up-front planning, the importance of partnerships over supply agreements as well as the management of requirements, risk and change throughout the project to ensure that the delivered product meets user needs and achieves success in the market.
Prior to his role at Cochlear, Peter had a long career in the aerospace industry, with senior engineering and project management roles at Qantas, Hawker de Havilland and Westland Helicopters.
