News alert for all those interested in funding for your active MedTech product development. This program offers up to $1 million in matched funding. The application period is only open for three weeks, i.e. closing around 8 March.
In round one there were some interesting projects funding that look like they may have been in the active MedTech space including:
Clinical imaging of the cell surface receptor CXCR4 in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) patients.
Eye and brain testing for better management of ophthalmic and neurological diseases.
An innovative device providing adaptive deep brain stimulation for people with Parkinson’s disease.
A non-invasive acoustic belt that uses artificial intelligence to decode gut noises to accurately diagnose and monitor common gut disorders (pictured below)
